My team has developed a brand new functional medical bed with controls. The invention will be used for treatment of the most severe cases of immobilized patients who are unable to move their limbs independently.

The bed will treat this group of patients by providing passive limb movement on a 24-hour program. The bed movements will take place under nurse supervision following a regime prescribed by a doctor. The bed is a medical engineering invention and can be used round-the-clock to provide different types of therapy to the immobilized patient lying on the bed (after stroke).

The new bed allows simpler repositioning and more reliable movement throughout the day. The rate of recovery is much higher when using this bed, compared with other modern forms of therapy for immobilized patients.

We are raising capital to start production, to register the invention at the Ministry of Health and in the Sheet Set of clinical equipment in Russia. We need an investment for mass production starting from $ 1,500,000.

Production will take place in the industrial area of the Academy of Medical Technology. The preliminary estimate for the cost of the bed is 500,000 RUB.
