myKFIT Summary

KFIT is a fitness routine started by Chris and Hermann Kratochwill (Two Austro-American Brothers). The idea was born through sports accountability and to ensure that each one of the two brothers were getting into shape. The ideas and principles of KFIT spread quickly amongst friends and family so that the two began developing myKFIT, an online fitness platform.

We believe that community and accountability tied together with education and commitment in all the things we do on a daily basis reflect our achievements. Our platform offers guidance, engages in conversation, creates community and informs through relevant information. All this is supplemented with our easy to use online tools to assist you in the process.

What We Need & What You Get

We began developing the platform with our own funds and as we truly believe in the project where we have invested significant time and funding. We have come to the point where we need to reach out to the world to help us in making that global difference happen.

We are nearing the final stages of the development of the online platform however are at risk and hence want to get the world involved.

We are seeking to raise $10,000 for the last stages of the project! The amount raised will go into development costs for the platform, including design, coding, programming, multimedia material and marketing products such as t-shirts and stickers.

We want to give back to you for supporting us and hence our contributors will receive free access to the myKFIT website including all premium content. Donations above $100 will receive a myKFIT t-shirt and there will be other goodies in return.

The Impact

We began the development of myKFIT because the current sites out there provide an information overload. We wanted to keep things clean and simple and break them down into layman terms for us and the world to understand. Our goal is to keep each one of us accountable in maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

We are engaged directly with the consumer by offering live fitness video feeds, Q&A, etc. Furthermore, we ohave a price point advantage vs other online competitors and multinational background.

We will generate revenues through subscription, premium services including free versions based on advertising. The health and fitness industry is a $1.6 billion annual market with over $310 million online. The current competition holds an average user base of 106,000 customers on premium services so the opportunity for growth especially in European markets is enormous.

We are aiming to raise only $10,000. We are two brothers hard at work developing the platform, including the formulas and trackers as well as the entire website.

The capital raised will be used to invest into development into the platform with consideration of involving further programmers and graphic design artists. Part of the capital will go into physical goods such as t-shirts and arm bands.

We are both full time employed at large tech companies. The higher the investment the more we can focus on myKFIT.
