Investment Project for Social Networking Site

Social networking site bringing people together in the CIS region and/or Russian speaking living elsewhere in the world and looking to find their soulmate. This is not a dating website but more a platform for a long term serious relationship finally culminating into marriage.

The site already has 3500+ users.

Long term strategy - to become the largest matrimonial site for the CIS region/Russian speakers, reaching revenues of $150-200 mil. per year.

Founders - two executives with more than 15 years each of experience in emerging markets (India and CIS), recently graduated from one of world's top three executive MBA programs.

The project completed the development stage and was functionally launched in June 2010. In the first month of launch the site had 114 users but has picked the momentum since then. We are having 1,500 visitors each day on the site with daily uptake of 100+ new registered users each day by the last week of October.

It is the intention to keep the site open to all the new users for free but after having the initial uptake of 5,000/10,000 users the site will be charging the customers for interacting with potential partner.

The site is also under development for creation of wedding related potential vendors which would be of interest to our users. Vendor will be charged for each referral through the site.

The other source of revenue will be advertsining revenue which we intend to target as an immdeiate next step by Jan 2011 thorough google adsense. The site has already been approved by google as adsense partner.

The funds is needed to ramp up the acquisition of customers at a much higher pace as is currently the case which is purely being done from promoters own funding.
