It is an ecosystem containing affordable office infrastructure and a community of like-minded professionals. It fosters creativity and exchange among its inhabitants in order to catalyze the formation of entrepreneurial initiatives.

Mission

Our goal is to propagate coworking as a model of business organization and emphasize on the social, collaborative, and informal aspects that characterize creative and entrepreneurial work. We put forward three main objectives:
Become a backbone for the participants in the creative economy
Provide professional support for young entrepreneurs and start-ups
Become an intermediary between creative economy and traditional business sectors

Services

Rent a desk: individual and team desks, for a period of 1, 5, 12 days or a month with a 24/7 access option. This includes access to all necessary facilities and supplies, with additional services such as VoIP, lockers, conference room with projector and post boxes.
Financial, legal and accounting services: ongoing consultations with specialists regarding topics such as company registration, equity, budgeting, taxes, etc.
„Сoworking visa”: membership is valid in all international betahaus hubs for no additional pay.
Professional development program: seminars, workshops, lectures, and debates, tailored to the needs and interests of the betahaus community.
Cultural enrichment program: manifold interdisciplinary artistic events.
“Betapitch” acceleration program: biannual competition for innovative start-ups.

Company’s Background
Betahaus Sofia is an independent entity, part of the European betahaus network with hubs in:
- Berlin: founded in 2009, 180 working places, Current Net Sales: ca. 660 000 EU p.a.
- Hamburg: founded in 2010, 50 working places, Projected Net Sales: ca. 120 000 EU p.a.
- Cologne: founded in 2011, 80 working places, Projected Net Sales: ca. 160 000 EU p.a.
- Zurich, Lisbon and Barcelona: expected to start operating this year.

In Europe, betahaus competes on the “coworking space” market alongside with competitors such as The Hub and The Business Class Net.
Currently there are no other companies offering a similar bundle of services in Bulgaria. Indirect competitors include technology parks, business incubators, youth and cultural centers, public libraries, and “hot-spot” venues such as café chains.

Betahaus differentiates itself from all these indirect competitors by offering a unique array of business services and infrastructure, alongside opportunities for professional networking, cultural enrichment, and recreation. This market is yet to be developed. Furthermore the business concept allows opportunities for expansion (scalability) as well as possibilities for collaborations/synergies with other businesses, which presents additional advantages.

betahaus Sofia is an independent part of an international betahaus network with hubs in several European cities, that have proven the sustainability and profitability of the business concept.

The distribution of the investments in USD (and in %-age of the total) is as follows:
