RKS will be a delivery service/errands company which will provide 24 hour delivery boys to cater to the outdoor needs of households. The needs may include grocery shopping, packed food, stationery, bill payment, photocopy, clothes to/from laundry/drycleaner, medicines, lab reports, form submission/collection, courier/post, etc. The services would cover only local area of 2 km from a colony.

RKS will charge customers monthly as per their chosen shift and will provide delivery boys unlimited number of times upon request only during the customer’s shift timings.

The shifts are to be divided in: early morning, morning to evening, evening to late evening and then night to early morning.

Prospective customers include old people whose sons/daughters do not live with them; working couples who are busy in office from 9 to 9; nuclear families. Our target customers will be the middle and upper middle class households living in the metro and emerging cities of India. They are the ones who are willing to spend that extra buck to make their life easy and concentrate on other important things in life.

As of now, no direct competition exists. Chachii.com (servicing in Mumbai) can indirectly compete with us. However we can have a competitive advantage over them through ‘value for money’ i.e. low prices and least time per task will make the customers stick with us. Also we specialize in local area work as opposed to chachii.com which serves a complete city.

The prospective customers do not have a dedicated resource at home to do the daily outdoor work. Even in case of a full time servant at home, the family is reluctant to send them because of their illiteracy. The family member who does the outdoor work, does so by sacrificing some other important tasks or is not able to do the outdoor work.

RKS will provide delivery boys to customers to do their outdoor work as and when required. Delivery boys will be available 24 hours.

All delivery boys will have GPS devices with them which will help the operator to track their location and assign tasks accordingly. The task will be sent via system only as text message.

The services will only be for outdoor work, no delivery boy will be provided to do any household work.

We would start this business from Delhi, especially West Delhi as it has most of our target customers.

Funding is required to provide office space and purchase software and GPS devices.
