Online Real Estate Marketing Business Looking for Start-Up Funding

We are opening online real-estate marketing business in India. Builders and construction companies will be our major clients. This business is aimed to help people who are looking for property free of cost wherein the marketing charges will be paid by our clients. In the short-term this business will function like Directory/Classifieds for real estate. We are in process of going live until 30th April 2013.

Product:
Our customers will be the construction companies and builders in and around India. We will help the companies in promoting their property and showcasing their profiles as well as the projects they are dealing with. Clients will be charged based on the package they are to choose.

Target:
The main target customers for our business are builders and construction companies. As real estate is booming in all parts of India, this product will showcase their existing projects as well as the future projects of all the builder’s based on the ad package they opted for.

Revenue Generation Model:
The main source of revenue in this business comes from real-estate companies. The companies will market their projects in our product based on the package we designated. This will be purely a marketing/classified website especially designed for Construction Companies.

Progress on the Project:
Currently we are in the process of company formation with Indian company registration ACT. Once we get a memorandum then the designing process of website will be initiated. Further details in respect to the progress will be intimated to the investors on timely manner.

Project Timeline and Key milestones:
This project has 3 phases, the first phase being Government formalities and registration of company with STPI (Software Technology Park of India). The next phase will be the designing of website which will take an approximate of 3-6 months. The third and final step would be the go live for our website and marketing the product.

Funding Needs:
We are expecting an investor who can fund us and help us to fulfilling the marketing needs of our product. The ROI in this project will be 100% within 6 months (Once the website goes live). We require funds as a debt. And interest will be paid on monthly/yearly basis.

There are very few competitors for this business as far as India is concerned. Even if there are competitors we would be better than them as we are concentrating only on existing and future projects of our clients (Builders) dislike others who are acting as mediators for real estate. The options or the packages given to our clients will be the best in industry. We will also act as a one stop consultant for the users who is will to purchase a property in India.

Being an experienced player in the IT sector we will be making huge profit out of this business. Major portion of the money will be received from the construction companies to showcase their product in our website.

We would require a funding of approx. 20,000 USD initially to make the project go live. The reason for looking for an investor is to provide opportunity for others and to reach the huge crowd of target audience.

The over all loan amount we require is 20,000USD. The payback period is 6 months to 1 year (from the date in which the project goes live). We are seeking investment with 2-3% rate of interest. We are looking for either hands-on or silent investor.
