Investment Opportunity

Funding is required to start few collection centers across Bangalore, Karnataka and to start marketing activities for creating brand awareness.

We plan to create a Brand to fix Gadgets like Laptops, Tablets, etc., and start chain of service centers with world class standards under the brand name.

We have been working in the repair industry for the past 3 years. We have worked with brands like Dell and Sony Vaio and also have started up a multi brand service center for laptops and tablets in Indiranagar, Bangalore.

We have done a lot of research in this field and have understood the scopes and gaps in the industry. Currently there is a huge need for a branded service center where gadgets of all brands can be repaired fast and at affordable cost. The authorized service centers are very expensive and their turnaround time is very slow, so 70 % of their clients look for an option outside the authorized service centers when they want to repair their out of warranty gadget. But the problem here is that there is no branded service center providing professional service and this is the opportunity we are looking to capture. If we are able to create a brand and build trust we can tap these 70% customers. There are also many small and medium size companies who can’t afford to have AMC so we can provide service to them as well.

Project Plan:

We plan to start 6-8 collection centers which can do all Level 1 repairs (Level 1 repairs are Software related issues, small hardware up-gradation like ram, Hdd, etc.) in all metros starting from Bangalore, as well as one main repair center were Level 2 (all mother board related issues) repairs would be done.

The collection centers would be of 300 to 500 sq. ft. area 75% for reception / front office and 25% for service use.

The main repair center would be of 700- 1000 sq. ft. area with 60% service space and 25% stock room 15% for other uses.

We have a very strong and passionate team who just loves fixing gadgets and we have also built a good relationship and contacts with most of the parts manufacturers and importers all over the world so we can source almost all type of parts for the majority of the brands. In fact we can even import on our own if needed. We have also been helping a lot other repair centers across the country in finding rare parts for laptops.

We plan to start 3 collection centers in first 4-5 months and do extensive marketing to bring brand awareness, and then launch another 4-5 more collection centers in 7 months’ time (one year span in total). In Bangalore we already have a main service center of 800 sq. ft. which can do Level 2 service in a prime location.

Our advantage would be our quality of service, low prices as well as brand value.

Authorized service centers are very expensive and usually we can charge almost 30-40% less than them and give longer warranty period.

Rationale for the deal

This is a growing market as everyday there are new gadgets that come in and we would be adapting to new gadgets that would be coming in the future.

We have close to 3 years experience in this field.

We and our team can easily adapt to the changing market. Our team is very passionate about fixing gadgets so we keep updating ourselves on new products.

Use of financing

Funding is needed mainly for starting 6-8 collection centers across Bangalore and to bring brand awareness by extensive marketing.

Opportunity for the investor

For Debt Investment we can provide 3-5% interest.

For Equity Investment: we would be offering 40% shares and 30% ROI for a year.

Desired Investment installment schedule would be $20000 initially where in the first 2 months we would be starting 2 collection centers and the rest would be used for Marketing.
