A vegetable farm was established in July 2009 following the need and lack of supply of fresh produce in the American and Canadian market.
We started with two hectares and so far grew to five hectares. The farm currently produces only Cucumbers (Persian cucumber) for the ethnic markets in the U.S. and Canada. Currently, about 80% of the production is sold only in California.
The investment is required for the expansion of the farm and its activity. Our intention is to increase the farm at about 4 Hectares and to improve the existing technologies in order to optimise and increase our production capacity.
A second purpose is to establish an independent marketing system for the relevant markets.
The planned ROI is about 30 up to 34 months.
There is no classic competition in our target markets. Depending on the supply and demand the price of the product is set daily.
Since we are in the business of basic food products, in fact most of the year the demand exceeds the supply, and even the economic crisis and recession has little significant impact on the business.
