Exclusive Prospective License held for the area in the Kamanjab Inlier in the Outjo district, Kunene region, Namibia - Africa
The rock assemblages consist of the Huab Basement Complex with metavolcanics and intruded by the Fransfontein granites – in contact the Otavi group rocks of the Damara.
There has been a known mineralization (the inferred Gross Tutara 55 mineral deposit) in the Kaokoveld Mineral Province. Copper (Cu), Zinc (Zn), Lead (Pb) and Vanadium (V) anomalies and Gold (up to 110 ppb Au) and Silver (up to 3600 ppb Ag) have been discovered in the area. Previous collected samples indicate assay values of up to 43.3 % Cu. Uranium (U) mineralization and radioactive counts have also been picked up in the area.
There have been at least three (3) Copper mines, two (2) Industrial mineral mines and one (1) base metal mine documented to have been in operational in the area of the similar geological environment. Currently there are great discoveries for Rare Earth Elements (REE) potential.
There is abundant mineral potential in the area; therefore there is need for further exploration and mapping to determine the economic significance of the area.
Funding is needed for exploration and mapping activities.
