Brick Production and Base Metals Mining on Own Property in Namibia

The company intends to set up a Brick Manufacturing Plant/Sand Mining on its own property in Central Namibia and exploit the available base metal deposits.

Existing Assets:
Land: 132 hectares of Farm Land ideally suited for the purpose. Currently one borehole. Need to drill two more.
Equipment: Solar system for pumping of Water.
Buildings: Zinc Structure that serves currently as housing, whilst the building of proper accommodation has already started. Brick House almost 65 % completed.

Production process:
River sand will be collect by making use of a Backhoe Loader. Sand will be loaded onto flatbed and transported to a Sand Storage Heap. Sand will be mixed with Cement & Gravel (1:3:3) in a Pan Mixer. The Mixed product will be cast in a brick mould which is hosted by the Stallion- Lay-As- You- System on a 300m2 concrete surface. Finished bricks will be treated daily with water for it to strengthen for seven days before being used.

Economic and Development Impact:
We can contribute to job creation in a high-unemployment region and deliver a cheaper product in the housing sector.

Additional Opportunity:
In addition to the Sand Mining and Brick Manufacturing Project, a Chinese company holds an EPL over a vast area of land belonging to me and including a mine, the EPL expiring in August 2014. So far they drilled two exploration holes on my property, but the results are still unpublished. The area is rich in high grade copper but ore reserves are still unknown.

Background: The Government of Namibia is currently busy with a massive housing development program. An opportunity presents itself now for tender purposes in an unaffordable market for housing countrywide. Supply of bricks/sand in the Hardap and Khomas Regions will be a priority.

I need a 10-15 year loan of between U$1-5 million at your most favourable rate, repayable monthly. As collateral, I will put up my property (Farm 320, Kalkdraai measuring 133 hectares) as First Mortgage Bond, plus all other fixed property to be purchased. In addition, you can also register a General Noterial Bond over all intended purchases of Plant & Equipment.
