The Project will comprise of 40 units of mid income residential houses located in Suriname on a 5 acre land. The Project is expected to be completed within two (2) years and aims to develop houses targeted at young professionals in Suriname and in the Diaspora (EU, USA).
The Developer is a new property developer with a team of real estate professionals with a combined work experience of more than 10 years.
The Company requires debt financing of approximately US$0.5 million over the next 2 years to fund its operations.
The overall construction cost is estimated at US$ 0.5 million over the next two (2) years, which excludes the land cost. Construction cost is expected to be funded mainly by owners’ equity, customer deposit and debt funding.
The opportunity is to finance a new Real Estate developer to develop a new 40 unit gated community in Suriname. Requirement is for debt financing at 6-8%.
The Project is expected to be profitable over the investment period, reporting a projected Profit after Tax of US$0.3 million in year 1, US $0.7 million in year 2. Total profit for the project is estimated at US$1 million.
