Transportation of passengers between Pattaya and Hua Hin and from Pattaya to Samui island with fast ferries on a time table schedule.
We are going to provide transportation services:
• 4 times daily from Pattaya to Hua Hin, 4 times daily from Hua Hin to Pattaya
• 1 time Daily from Pattaya to Ko Samui, 1 time Daily from Ko Samui to Pattaya. Year two, 2 times Daily
Estimated number of passengers per day per line is 1 232.
The length between Pattaya and Hua Hin is 62 Nm and we use vessels in 25 Knots which will take 2.5 hours with full entertainment on board. The capacity of the backup vessels is 300 passengers.
The length between Pattaya and Ko Samui is 220 Nm and here we use a bigger vessel for 450 passengers with a cruising speed of 44 knots which will take 5 hours one way, also with full entertainment on board.
The first year we will use one vessel as we have only one vessel available but in year two we can get a second one and then extend the line all the way to Don Sak if we decide to do so. The ferry can take up to 4 busses and 24 cars or 52 cars with no busses.
We have submitted a full presentation and a full excel sheet for the investor with full time schedule of the project.
We are five senior persons in the Board with long experience far beyond the ferry lines activities.
Startup time is 60-80 days to bring the backup vessels to Thailand then they need refurbishment before they can go in traffic.
The first year sales is projected to 30.9 million dollars, total cost is 12.9 million.
The company does not pay any tax in Thailand under the BOI agreement
Income is 17.9 million dollars.
A total asset in vessels is 23.3 million and it is paid in month 19.
Return on Investment is 12 months or less.
A chair is available at BOD for better overview of the project.
The timeline is 36 months. Is time extension possible? Yes, of course.
When we can start? Immediately, 50 persons are waiting for us around the world. All is set for a good start and we are absolutely ready, just the investor is missing to join the local bank.
• We have no direct competitors but there are tour agent companies like Lomprayah which do bussing from Bangkok to Chom Porn and then fast ferry to Ko Samui 14 hour’s tour
• Great support from local and central governments (Pattaya, Hua Hin , Ko Samui) , marine department
• Prices are adjusted to all factors we know of today
• Fuel is the task to deal with and we are working very hard to get the latest innovation not only LNG in place of MGO Diesel but also Hydrogen on demand and finally Hydrogen
Rationale for the deal
This is a demand from the local government in Hua Hin who wants more tourists to visit the city and with the fact we have 13.5 million tourists visiting Pattaya yearly and only 1.5 million o to Hua Hin.
The same is for Ko Samui 1.5 million and Phuket 1.5 million.
The line to Ko Samui is very important as it deals with the passengers from Phuket and Bangkok as well.
Use of financing
We have support from one of the big banks in Bangkok which offered us 4 million dollars as support and they ask for a partner to support the other 3 million.
Can investor invest more? Sure but please concentrate on the startup first we will earn the money necessary for all investment even outside the ferry line like terminals and hotels.
The term is 36 months.
Opportunity for the investor
The opportunities for the investor are endless as we are building up the real ferry lines in Asia based from Singapore (outside ferry lines in Thailand).
Now it is up to the investor to claim his/her capacity and interest in the project and to which part the project does his/her major areas of experience.
