Project justification:
The project is all about supplies related to Horticulture, Landscaping and Agriculture Green House. Since there is no fertile soil for plant propagation and seed germination, Gulf countries depend entirely on Soil amendments. Therefore our product which is based on Coconut fibre dust is on huge demand there. Our product is non-hazardous and decomposes on its own leaving no environmental impacts. This is why the project is recognised by the respective municipalities. Given the existing restrictions in licencing, only limited players are there to reap the benefits, including us.

Progress on the project:
We come from a coconut growing region and are now settled in U.A.E for the past seven years, the last three years being actively involved in business. The market is well aware of us and we have managed to get full cooperation for our products. The time is ripe for introduction of new products and the same are already developed. Client patronage is established over the last three years.

Project timeline and key milestones:
The sooner we start the project, the better as time cannot be wasted and key milestone so far is capturing the no 1 supplier spot with blemishless record.

There are very few direct and indirect competitors since this line of activity is closely held and licences are restricted. There are only three players in the fray.

Our advantage refers to the deep knowledge on the product and access to resources. My origin from main raw material growing region makes the ultimate difference as I can source the raw materials at better price and value addition on the product delivery.

Rationale for the deal

The business is established in U.A.E with Marketing set up registered with the RAK free zone. We could not cater to the ever growing market all alone because the market is very wide open but there are strict business policies prevailing in the U.A.E. that allow only limited number of licence holders to operate in this product line. We have the required approval, hence, revenue generation is guaranteed.
