Exporting Gold and Rough Diamonds from Sierra Leone

I would like to start exporting Gold and Rough Diamonds from my native country of Sierra Leone for sale in the United States.

I currently live in the United States and am in the process of getting my U.S Citizenship. I've lived in the United States for the last 11 years and attended both high school and college here.

My goal is to start an exporting business from my native country of Sierra Leone.

Gold and Diamonds are mined in Sierra Leone the year round and could be very cheap to purchase if you buy straight from the miners.

Example: Gold that would be worth about $10,000 in the United States can be bought for about $7000 from the miners, resulting in a profit of $3000.

There are 3% tax charges by the government for all export gold. The export license costs $3000 and the rest of the funding I receive will be for purchasing.
