We seek for assistance/investors and subsequent partnership to execute our projects because as it stands, we lack the required funds.

Sustainable Agriculture, precisely Bee Keeping, Cocoa and Eru plantation, Poultry Management and Fish Rearing. Our main purpose is to stabilize C.D.M Plc. which is already up running but lacks a capital base to execute its projects. We have plans to help reduce the rate of unemployment in our home country by establishing a business link. We plan to sell the products domestically, as well as export part of them to countries of need.

60 communities and 5 common initiative groups (C.I.G) working in collaboration with C.D.M. are involved. Meanwhile, 4 villages are taking active working program with C.D.M.

1 farming group will be created in each community; hence there will be a total of 60 groups.

Each community has C.D.M backed bee keeping project coordinator to coordinate the groups.

Each group has 5 bee hives; hence a total of 350 bee hives of 56 litters capacity.

C.D.M has 56 beehives with no top bars due to the lack of materials and technical assistance. With them our work progress will be more effective as long as other C.I.G and community members, especially widows and orphans depend on the working progress of C.D.M.

Committees transport all harvested honey and other bee products to the cooperative.

Each bee hive provides at least 20 litres every three months, hence 7,200,000 litres every quarter. A Litre sells at FCFA 2.500 at minimum hence FCFA 10.8 Million.

C.D.M has 350 beehives in total with a vast apiary 105 have been installed. The others are not yet installed because of lack of top-bars and materials.

This small project is to run for only nine (9) months become sustainable within one year. Extra project funds from surpluses will be use to expand activities in to the hinterlands through the various committee. These will mean extra finance in to CDM coffers.

Rationale for the deal

The project will foster cultural compatibility and the involvement of local people in decision- making that will affect their living now and in the future. Local populations need to be empowered and to have a strong capacity building before the project starts.

The project needs to be implemented before the swarm season. Bees only colonize a well bated hive. This will make harvesting and control easy. The time for sawing of timbers and bating would have to allow timber to dry. Now the season is favourable because of the anticipated colonization of hive by swarms.

Use of financing

In terms of project progress, we currently maintain the project sites pending installation of extraction machinery.

We therefore seek for assistance/investors and subsequent partnership to execute our projects because as it stands, we lack the required funds.

As for project timeline, we guarantee it's going to be sustainable.

We also ascertain our investors and potential partners will be fairly treated based on our contract established.
