Aquaculture Project - Tiger Prawns Cultivation for Export

I wish to start a business in prawn farming. The area of cultivable ponds is 10 hectares. My son is already into this business for the past 5 years and is making good profits. Under his expert guidance I wish to launch this project by the 25th of May. It is almost reaching completion and I am falling short of Rs.40,00,000/- .

The project cost is Rs.1,20,00,000/-. I have raised a Bank loan of Rs.50,00,000/-. My own contribution will be Rs.30.00.000/-. I am falling short of Rs.40,00,000/-.

Details of the project:

10 hectares of land has been leased at Village Sonave, Saphale, near Mumbai.10 ponds of 1 hectare each have been constructed. Out of these, 9 will be cultivable ponds and 1 will be reservoir. About 20,00,000 seeds will be put in the ponds on 25th of May. After due care and organic inputs, probiotics, water exchange etc. the seeds will be cultivated into Tiger prawns for which there is a lot of demand in the market. About 30 tonnes of material (Tiger prawns) will be produced after a period of 160 days, i.e. by 5th November. On completion, we have to just dial and call the exporters, who pay a good price, i.e. about Rs.320/- per kg (320000/- per tonne). There are 2 such cycles in a year, yielding annual profit of about 35 to 40 lacs.
I am interested in investors who are willing to invest at least $10,000/-. Interest @ 4% per month (48% per annum) will be given to the investor and 25% of the principal amount will be returned after every cycle of 7 months. Interest will continue to be given on the remaining principal amount.

Since it is a seller’s market, the demand is more than the supply and with good quality of output one does not have to worry about sales.

I have found this plot of land for lease after a thorough research and have also kept a technician who is well qualified in the business and stays very close to the site to take care of the business along with my son who is successfully doing this business since the past 5 years.

Finance will be totally towards the capital and running cost of the project. If one wishes to pay a visit to the site, one is most welcome
