Funding Needed for a Program Fighting Obesity among Children

Investment is sought by an Indian company involved in nutrition awareness workshops to launching their own play schools for kids across India and abroad.

Uncontrolled 'globesity' can only be controlled through preventive nutritional approach amongst children. Good habits and timely nutrition intervention and growth assessment will promise a fitter gen-next. Having launched in 2009, we now wish to formalize our Nutrition education club in the form of play school all across India and then oversees. We have our format all tested and need investment as soon as possible.

Founders of this venture are a dietician with over 15 years of experience and a creative animation director. We propose a ‘Nutrition’ concept based Pre-School and an after school activity club offering nutrition and physical activity based curriculum for children aged between 3 to 10 years. Ours is a unique approach following a unique Preventive Nutritional Therapy. This is the need of the hour where paediatric obesity is on a rampage. This is the first ever pre-school that aims at detecting nutritional imbalances and nutritional corrections.

We have developed an animated character along with a team of other characters who spread nutrition awareness. We wish to make educational CDs and sell them to schools across the globe.

We need investment for launching our very own unique play schools across India. We are looking at opening franchise models - at least 5 more - within the very first year of our launch. The ROI will be faster than estimated time period as our income generating verticals are far too many. We will be world famous as we will offer to the world first ever nutritional education animated series at par with characters like Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.
