This is an online college. It is registered officially in Kenya. Students do not attend physical classes. All the courses offered are REFRESHER. Meaning a leaner will undertake a short course in a topic of his/her choice for at least one week.There are about 200 courses to select from. Self assessment study. No exams. No marking. NO FEES paid. FREE Courses. After a week upon Registration, the College will send a Certificate via post office address provided by the student. However we charge a little fee for the Certificate. Charges for Kenyan students is 10 US dollars. 20 US dollars for the Certificate of those outside Kenya.
Competitive Advantage
Most people would wish to attend refresher courses to add more knowledge in areas they have previously studied at university and or college. This is a free college where they can do so and hence boost their CV or improve their marketability to potential employers.
Rationale for the deal
There seems to be a high market for this investment. What we earn from certificate fees is sheer profit because we have little or no expenditure. No payment of teachers. A staff of 2 is enough to run the venture.
Use of financing
Financing is purely for advertising in the print, electronic and social media. nothing more.
