Investment Opportunity
Diapers are one of the top selling consumer products in Nigeria. We are offering investors a 10% interest rate. We need funding to buy and ship the product.
Baby diapers belong to the daily necessities and are selling extremely well. No mother wants to use reusable nappies as they come with stress for the mother and rashes for the baby.
The diaper market is a large one as birth rates in Nigeria are high. With the 168.8 million people as at the last census the market potential is huge.
I am seeking for help from potential investors at their benefit as the profit is very high. No one ever declares loss in diaper business. It is always a win-win and there is enough market for newcomers. The risk involved is negligible or non-existing.
This product would start making profit immediately. All we need is to secure the funding. I already have a lot of distributors who would distribute and circulate the product into the market thereby making it available to the wholesalers who would sell it to the retailers and they in turn would sell to the consumers.
I need this funding to cover the cost of buying the product and shipping it down here to Nigeria.
I am offering a 10% interest rate and payback period of one year.
Competitive Advantage
There is no string competition as there are never enough people doing this business. I intend to bring in a good brand of diaper that would give consumers value for their money.
Rationale for the deal
I am going to make money out of this product by selling it to the distributors at a good profit because I am importing it from China where the cost of production is low however the quality of the product is high. I already have contacts with the manufacturing company in China. Negotiations have taken place and terms has been finalised.
Other market players are also making profits in this business because of the high rate of birth rates.
My mom was a distributor for pampers (Protea Baby and Procter&Gamble) and I was helping her run the business for 5yrs. I would say I did most of the business as she left everything to my care, so I know the in and out of the business.
Use of financing
The funding is needed to buy the product and ship it from China to Nigeria.
I need funding because I do not have the start-up capital and we all know that banks do not help in funding start-ups although there are lots of business ideas and people looking for early-stage finance. Now this is where an investor can step in, support the business and gain profits.
Opportunity for the investor
I am looking for a loan of $30,000 US dollars and I would pay it back after a year with an integrate rate of 10% calculated on monthly basis. This means I would be paying back the 30000 dollars at the end of the one year with 10% calculated for each month.
I would like to find a silent investor who would just sit back and watch his money roll in and give me advice on financial control where it is needed
I would like to start paying 6 months after collecting the loan. That means I would calculate the 10% interest rate for 6 months and pay up. Then after the 6 months, I would then be paying the 10% every month and then, at the end of the one year, I will pay up the remaining money. But I can also conform to how the investor wants his money to be played back and agree upon different terms.
