We are a small business enterprise aiming to design and develop unique items for household use or any other items not available in South Africa and new to the market.

The core purpose and operation of this specific project is the manufacturing of a household item, with a unique design and layout, named URBILIV.

The company "Oh so sassy designs", were started by Tiana van Antwerpen (owner) and Deon Bothma (designer) and we aim to design unique concepts which is not available or seen in South Africa markets.

The company is situated in Honeydew, Johannesburg.

The company do not operate from a manufacturing type premises as the manufacturing process will be outsourced to an existing factory.

INDUSTRY ANALYSIS
This company designed a product called URBILIV mostly for household use.

The product is made out of hard plastic and unbreakable.

We will provide several packaging options for this product. Eg. Beginner to advance.

The layout is unique and very attractive.

The trend we set is funky and modern, and no similar products available – this make the product a leader in the market.

The manufacturing, packaging and delivery of the products will be outsourced to a company in Honeydew. (See operations plan)

The product will be supplied tot the following companies which will form the customer basis of the company:

- Pick 'n Pay Family Stores and Hypermarkets.

COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS
As far as competitors of the same business are concerned – there is little or no competition of this kind.

There is no competition to our product as this is a first in South Africa.

MARKETING PLAN
The business is in the process to implement the following advertising methods:
1. Garden and Home magazine advertising.
2. Television exposure on programs such as Tuine en Tossels – Kyknet, and The Gardener with Tanya Visser.
3. A website will be developed as soon as the product is manufactures. A link of our website will be made known on all advertising mediums.
4. Live demonstrations will be done in stores on weekends.
5. Full time qualified and experienced marketers will be appointed to service the clients
6. Establish of export markets to US, UK, Europe, Asia and Australia.

OPERATIONS PLAN
The operations plan are as follows:
The designs and planning of the product are already done.
The manufacturing of the moulds will be done by African Moulding.
African Moulding will then manufacture the product, attach the magnets, and pack the product in the designed packaging.
The delivery to our customers will also be done by African Moulding.

We found a company that will assist us with the full operational part of our company, whereby it saves Oh so sassy designs the setup of storage, delivery trucks, etc.

MANAGEMENT TEAM
The management team will be:
Tiana van Antwerpen – Operations manager.
Deon Bothma – Designer and developer of products.

Client service personnel that will be appointed to service each province, and the company aim to build a team of approximately 55 people all together.

FINANCIAL PLAN
As this product is a new concept in the market we are looking at the following financial structure:
3D designing to accommodate Africa Plastics Injection Moulders machines.
Cut and development of steel mouldings. - 8 in total.
Manufacturing of injection moulding containers and plates.
Assembling of magnets.
Packaging for product.
Delivery cost.

The funds needed to get this product on the market by beginning December 2011, is R3.5mil (US$500,000) as structured in the financial plan. Funds are needed by end September 2011.

The investment will be paid back in full at end of February 2012 in full + interest or per terms stipulated in the contract/agreement with the investor.

The company will have a 100% profit margin on each item, as this is based on direct sales to our customers. Therefore immediate cashflow and investment returns are in place.

The fixed overheads of the company are minimal as the manufacturing of the product is outsourced to an already existing factory. An agreement are already in place.

We will be the only company manufacturing such a product in SA, and therefore unique.
