Investment Opportunity

Faith association is seeking for start-up funds to kick start a poultry farm that will grow into a commercial production farm.

We aim at growing broiler chicken for sale in the East African Community region. We will start with 200 birds, then grow the farm to over 100,000 birds.

This farm will benefit the poor and under privileged widows and single mothers in the countryside areas in Uganda in terms of getting farm employment, improving on their livelihoods and caring for their families. This will be in line with the corporate social responsibility strategy of the farm.

The broiler farm is targeting hotels, restaurants, schools and other secondary business retailers in the East African Region.

Rationale for the deal

The Farm will realize a steady growth and double the number of birds in the farm till the climax of 100,000 birds. After getting to the breakeven point at 1000 birds, the farm will begin to enjoy the profits of a minimum of $3000 per output. The output will begin at a quarterly rate, i.e. four outputs p.a.

Use of financing

The funding will cater for land acquisition, farm building structures such as farm house, four chicken barns, and workers’ wages.

Opportunity for the investor

We are willing to discuss the payback time adjustments with the investor. Ideally, we intend to offer 15% interest with a payback time of 3 to 5 years.
