E-Learning School Project in Uganda Looking For Start-up Funding

It will be an e-learning school with modern learning facilities necessary for this generation. Funding will be needed for setting up such facilities.

About the proposed program:

I intend to create a school that will offer the best learning opportunity for preschool children in Uganda.There are many private schools here but none of them has an element of blending the teaching learning process for the preschool level, with ICT facilities. The proposed school will set the pace in this direction.

The plan:

The plan is to establish a state of the art facility that will exceed the expectations of progressive parents, encourage curiosity in learning and assist the building of self-confidence among attendees. Teachers will partly use digital devices to carryout instructions on lessons, allied to the local curriculum and designed to support the child’s growth from sensory stimulation, to problem solving skills. The school will provide the classes with teachers reading children’s books and teaching rhymes electronically as well as encouraging key social and emotional skills. They will play with multiple toys, colour and pictures and do activities that encourage self-awareness and communication with peers. The school will be linked to partner schools overseas.

About me:

I am 28 years old, economically independent and would like to set out new standards for preschool learning in Uganda with this project. I am an innovative spark with inner abilities to initiate, organize and successfully operate the proposed business and would like your support with complementary equity.

The experience I will contribute to the program:

I am a business manager with a solid career, graduate in BA and has been working successfully in the field of education management, drawing from my previous employment in 2 separate successful schools. I have many relevant local contacts. I have also had preliminary with a number of parents and opinion leaders in the education sector and the response is overwhelming.

What has been done before:

No significant pre-investment has been made since the idea and demand come from my daily experience. However, I have prepared a business plan with technical and financial information about the project.

The market for education in Uganda is enormous and there are currently no providers that offer such holistic and attractive packages for preschool learning. Pioneering this service will enable the project to have an edge in early childhood education.

What I expect from potential investors is a pre-start up involvement through discussions (meetings) with the entrepreneur and his management team. Integrity, empathy and passion, financial support and commitment towards the cause.
